Compass Pointe Renovation Update 7/12/10

Crews have been hard at work over here at Compass Pointe.  We are now finished painting the handrails/stairs, body, and exterior trim.  The mansards (siding) have also been installed.  I must say that everything is looking great!  I really like the paint and siding colors and think they blend well together with the stones.  The only thing we have left to do on the exterior of the buildings is paint the doors.  Any thoughts on the colors we ought to use?  If so, we’d appreciate your input by commenting below.  As you can see, the grass is green but we still need to do landscaping to spruce it up a bit.  We are waiting to do that until the majority of the renovation is complete so the nice plants don’t get trampled on.

Compass Pointe Renovation Update 6/28/10

We’ve finished painting the first building of four and are now working on getting the siding up.  This place is already looking like a completely different property!  Check out the pictures below.

Pool is Painted at Compass Pointe!

We’re making more progress on turning this old apartment into a nice place to live.  The pool just got cleaned out and painted like new.  Soon it will be full of clean water and open to cool our residents on these hot summer days!

Compass Pointe Renovation Update 6/23/10

As I said, the new handrails and stairs have been installed and we’re starting the paint.  I figured I’d give everyone a closer look at the goods.  Check out the pictures below for a before and after of the handrails and stairs, pretty big difference.  Also, check out the paint we’re going with on the siding and railing.  I think the difference between the siding and railing colors will give it good contrast and the dark railing is good for not showing dirt.  We’d like to hear your thoughts though so feel free to comment.

Ashbury Court Apartments Renovation 1/20/10

We just took over the management of Ashbury Court Apartments in Wichita, KS.  The new owner wanted new management and thought PIMCO was the best of the job.  This is a good property with 116 units conveniently located in South Wichita, close to McConnell AFB, Spirit, and Cessna.  A few of the units in one of the building had a fire before we took over so the whole building is getting a renovation.  Below are some photos of the work so far.  We expect these to be rent ready within about 30 days.  Many of them are getting new flooring, appliances, counters, paint, and windows.  Some are even getting new cabinets, all new bathrooms, hot water tanks, the works!

Current rent prices for a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom unit is $425 with a $250 deposit and a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom unit is $360 with a $200 deposit.  The units that are completely remodeled with everything new will most likely be somewhat higher priced.  To schedule a viewing of the property call (316) 684-5956.

Brook Square Apartments Renovation 1/13/10

Slowly but surely crews are making headway on the renovation of Brook Square Apartments.  It’s happening slowly because we’ve been hit some terrible weather over the past month.  Almost record low temperatures and record high snow falls have plagued the Tulsa area lately which has slowed down construction.  For some reason guys don’t work very well when they can’t feel their fingers…

Anyway, we have made some progress as you can see in the these pictures.  All of the new handrails are painted along with the exterior doors and trim.  More units are getting ready for tenants to move in as you can see below.  We are framing in the closets in all the bedrooms because they were never properly done by the previous owners.  For those of you looking at the obvious clash in colors from the orange and yellow paint with blue canopies don’t worry.  We are going to be dying the canopies to match the paint.  I think they will look good in orange, what do you think?

Brook Square Renovation November ’09

Crews have been busy over the past couple months with the renovation of this property.  All of the handrails have been replaced as you can see in these pictures.  Many of the units have also gotten upgraded furnaces, paint, carpet, and counter tops.  It’s an ongoing process but these apartments will be very nice when we’re finished!
